I am so impressed with this embroidery!
Colorful embroidery with non-traditional themes has been on the rise over the past couple of years. Sublime Stitching is a great example of this trend as is the work of Katherine Shaughnessy of Wool & Hoop who is bringing back the equally “quaint” art of crewel. But of all the contemporary work I’ve seen this is my favorite! And I don’t even like bugs.
